Anti-union extremists and the yes-men in Congress passed a devastating budget bill that will damage our communities and cost lives. They slashed Medicaid, ripped health care from millions, and gutted food assistance – all to hand out more tax breaks to billionaires and greedy corporations who don’t need another dime.
The state is facing a massive $3.5 billion cut under the Republican’s big ugly bill. This could result in 3,400 job losses, 62,000 people losing health care, and 94,000 children and kupuna kicked off SNAP.
