Let’s cut to the chase: The decision we got from the arbitrator for temporary hazard pay for Hawaii County employees is severely flawed. That’s on top of it falling way short of what you deserve for putting your health and safety on the line for two years.
This was a disappointing decision, for sure. But it’s not the end of the game by any means. As soon as our staff completes our review of the decision, we’ll let you know exactly how we will proceed and what arguments we’re going to make.
